Both lanes on State Highway 3 through the Manawatū Gorge are now open following a two-car collision on Friday afternoon.
Police central communications Inspector Michael Coleman said the collision at 4.50pm yesterday had blocked the west-bound lane, about 5 kilometres into the gorge from the Ashhurst end.
No one was injured in the crash and the lane was closed for about 30 minutes.
Two tow trucks had also been called to the scene.
