Veteran Welsh crooner Sir Tom Jones has announced he is returning to New Zealand next year to play a one night only show.
The 75 year-old, who has been having hits since 1965, is playing at Auckland's Vector Arena on March 19 - the same day at next year's Auckland City Limits festival at Western Springs.
Jones, who was knighted in 2006, heads to Auckland before playing the Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia on March 28.
He's touring off the back of recording three career-reviving albums, the gospel-flavoured Praise and Blame (2010), the folk/blues-flavoured Spirit in the Room (2012) and last month's country and rock'n'roll set Long Lost Suitcase.
Jones' March concert is sure to include his classic hits It's Not Unusual, Green, Green Grass of Home, Delilah and Sex Bomb.
He also published at his autobiography Over the Top and Back last month.
Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster on November 17 at 10am. Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers can obtain tickets through the associated pre-sales on November 16 from 9am.
Jones last appeared in New Zealand in 2010 at Villa Maria Estate Winery where fans performed the traditional ritual of throwing knickers on stage in appreciation.
