Fleetwood Mac to return to NZ

Getting the band back together again - All five Fleetwood Mac originals to rock NZ.

Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie and Christine McVie are Fleetwood Mac.

The rumours are true - British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac are returning to New Zealand.

All five original band members are back together, with Christine McVie rejoining band mates Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks after a 16-year absence.

The band will be in New Zealand in November as part of their On With The Show world tour, which also sees them visit Australia before they fly over here.

Fleetwood Mac will rock Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin on November 18, and Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on November 21, with a two-and-a-half-hour stadium show in each city.

The shows will feature Fleetwood Mac classics such as The Chain, Dreams, Rhiannon and Don't Stop.

The tour marks Fleetwood Mac's first series of concert dates in New Zealand since 2009's sold-out Unleashed Tour in New Plymouth.

The band were unfortunately forced to cancel their sold-out tour here in 2013 due to illness.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10am on Wednesday April 1, with pre-sales for certain card holders from midday Tuesday.

Fleetwood Mac are touring New Zealand with promoter Live Nation and radio station The Sound.
