A judge threatened to issue a warrant for the arrest of AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd when he was late for court today.
Justice Timothy Brewer said he would issue a warrant if he didn't show by 9.30am for a hearing at the Tauranga High Court. Rudd turned up a few minutes later.
The hearing was set down for 9.15am.
Rudd is charged with threatening to kill and drugs possession. He was also previously charged with attempting to procure the murder of two men, when he appeared in court earlier this month.
However, the Crown solicitor dropped that charge the next day after a meeting with Rudd's lawyer and police.
Justice Brewer transferred the case to the Tauranga District Court and remanded Rudd on bail.
All the action was outside the court however, as Rudd put on a show for the media.
Instructed by his lawyer not to speak to the media, he replied "No, but thanks for asking," to questions.
Pursued to his car parked nearby, he briefly piggy backed on one of his security guards before getting into the vehicle and giving the fingers to the media.
He then backed his black Nissan GTR out into the path of an oncoming delivery truck. The driver was forced to break suddenly to avoid a collision.
Rudd is scheduled to reappear before the court on December 2.
