Emergency services were called to a road accident just south of Cheltenham this afternoon.
A black ute was seen just after 5.30pm badly damaged, after it looked to have been involved in an accident with a trailer outside the gates of Hato Paora College.
The fire service were directing traffic and sweeping windscreen glass off the road.
A tow truck was also witnessed heading to the scene, from the direction of Feilding.
No further information is available.
