Life is about to get a whole lot more interesting for one Feilding Lotto player who is set to bank a cool $7.2 million.
The winning ticket was sold at the Feilding Video Centre.
The total Lotto Powerball prize of $7.2m is made up of $7m from Powerball First Division and $200,000 from Lotto First Division.
There were four other Lotto First Division winners who each took home $200,000. The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Hornby Mall in Christchurch, New World Te Rapa in Hamilton, Unichem Stortford Lodge Pharmacy in Hastings and Lotto 'N' Things in Oamaru.
Strike Four was also won by a player in Taupō who will net $157,866. The winning ticket was sold at Countdown Taupō.
The Feilding win comes on the heels of a Big Wednesday jackpot of $20.2m won by a Lotto player from Countdown Pukekohe in Auckland.
A month ago, a Blenheim ticket-holder won $4.5 million and a week previously a man from Christchurch quit his job after winning a massive $14.3 million with a ticket purchased in Ashburton.
"To have three big Powerball wins within just a few weeks is pretty exciting for our players," Lotto NZ's head of corporate communications Emilia Mazur said.
Meanwhile, Karen from Hamilton spun and won $125,000 with the Winning Wheel.
