A person has been seriously injured following a car crash near the Linton Military Camp in Palmerston North.
Emergency services were called to the crash late this morning and two fire trucks were used to remove the person from their vehicle.
Another person suffered minor injuries. Both have been taken to hospital.
It's believed three cars were involved in the incident.
Today's crash follows a car versus pedestrian crash early yesterday morning, in which Bunnythorpe man Shane Foster, 28, was struck by a car on Rangitīkei Line, near Palmerston North. Foster died at the scene while the male driver was shaken, but uninjured.
