Lorde's look-alike Muppet has sold for $3000 on TradeMe to a bidder on the Kāpiti Coast.
The auction, which closed at 2.30pm yesterday afternoon, was won by 'Kelly' from the Kāpiti Coast. Kelly has been a TradeMe member since November 2008.
Lorde (whose real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor) gave permission for the 33cm tall fabric likeness to be auctioned off to help raise money for the Starship Foundation.
The one-off creation was designed by The Muppets Studio and features Lorde's signature hair and dark eye-makeup.
The auction coincides with the release of the latest movie in the Muppet franchise, Muppets Most Wanted.
