The Central Districts Field Days have been closed down this afternoon due to forecast high winds.
An announcement over the PA system was made about 12.30pm with a siren heard for about fifteen seconds then an announcement from Field Days management.
The man who read the announcement said that the site was closing immediately due to forecast high wind gusts above the threshold for the event.
Mark Wasley was at the event and is not impressed the event was closed down as he did not get to see all the sites.
